Connor’s mom, Mary, is offering to do a “swim clinic with drills” this coming Monday, 6/27 at the Ft. Lowell City Pool. This is very sweet of her as she is responding to your request to improve your swim stroke/efficiency/time techniques for the Aquathlon.
Here are the details:
Where: Meet at the clubhouse at 430pm or meet Mary at the pool at 5pm.
Pool address: 2900 N. Craycroft
Time: 5pm-6pm-ish or a bit longer depending on the need.
Cost: $1 to get in the pool if you are under 18, probably a few buck more if you are over 18.
Transportation: Mary can take 5 additional riders in her car if you need a ride. OR, Richard is available to take the van.
PLEASE respond to this post and let us know: are you going? Will you meet us at the pool or do you need a ride and will meet at the clubhouse at 430pm? We need to hear from all of you. This is an optional opportunity for you.

Mary, did you check pool hours at Ft Lowell as most city pools are closed between 5-5:30 for lessons and cleaning. If lots of kids respond, I can help if needed 🙂

Rane, Thanks for catching the time issue. The pool is closed til 5:30. What if we meet about 5:15 then take the pool at 5:30. I am certainly no expert so feel free to help if you can;) So far it looks like a small grp so maybe I can handle them all. My main concern is if several levels of swimmers come I won’t be able to meet all their needs.

Mary, thank you so much for doing this! Emily will be in her summer school class until 7:00pm so she will not be able to attend. I am encouraging Nathan and Daniel to come. Ft. Lowell pool is a 10 minute or less (mostly downhill) bike ride from our house, so if they do come they can ride to the pool and meet you there.
    Thanks again, Cathy

I can ride there from my house as well, so I’ll try and meet you all at the pool at 5:15. Thank you, Mary for offering this, it is a great opportunity. 🙂

Thank you, Mary. I learned a lot. I hope you would like to do it again because I could still use the help. 🙂

No problem, Guys. It was fun to see you each make improvements on your strokes. I’d be happy to do it again next week. Just let me know which day works best. I should be free every afternoon.
