This week is going to be lots of recovery rides after last week’s hard work – and to get several of us ready to rock Mt. Graham for the State Championship Hill Climb – and the LAST RACE of the season, finally!!!
Saturday morning we will have a chill, family-friendly ride along with the Connect 2 Tucson event. We will join others in the 22 mile ride of the Urban Loop (Santa Cruz and Rillito pathways) so please feel free to invite your parents, siblings, and friends who you think might enjoy this and who you know will be able to do 22 mostly flat miles. We will meet at the clubhouse at 6:30am and ride over to the start together. Please be on time!
For those who are planning on riding/racing Mt. Graham on Sunday (race begins at 8am), we are planning on leaving Tucson at 2pm on Saturday to camp at Roper Lake State Park to be rested and ready to go the next morning. Please comment if you are planning on going. We have plenty of camping reserved so just need to know if you are going to figure out carpooling. We should get back home on Sunday no later than 5pm.

I talked to Nippy and have thought about racing. I have decided against it, but thank you for the opportunity. I would however love to go and be support, help, encouragement, etc!!!! Thanks, Coach!
Olivia plans on going-not sure if she is racing yet-will confirm w/ Nippy. I (Olivia’s dad, Steve) will be racing up the Holy Grail of AZ Climbs and look forward to seeing all of the smiling El Grupo faces Sunday am, if not before.
Olivia just confirmed she’s not ready to race but she’s planning on coming w/EG.
FYI: There is an omnium race in Yuma Nov. 5/6 put on by the youth cycling team there, I think..it’s on the AZCycling.com calendar.
