We all could use a little extra sleep these days with all that is going on and all the riding you have been doing. So we will be starting all rides at 8:30am on Friday – NO SCHOOL. It is SUPER IMPORTANT that you all make this ride as this will be the last big ride before El Tour!!
On a separate note, I need to know who wants to be at the table for the El Tour Dedication Dinner for Rahsaan Bahati on Thursday, November 17th from 6pm-8:30pm (roughly). An anonymous individual purchased a table for El Grupo (for 8 people) and the organizer, Missy, has offered to include 4 more people as long as we can help her out for a total of 12 people. This will be another event to add to an already very busy week, and on a school night, nonetheless. However, it is a great opportunity for El Grupo to have a strong presence at the dinner, support Rahsaan and network with folks. We will all be wearing our new El Grupo t-shirts!!
PLEASE COMMENT if you are interested and available to be at the table for dinner, and also if you wouldn’t mind helping out for an hour or so leading up to it. The first to comment are the first to get a spot. (Both Logan and Donovan already have and each get a seat.)
That Thursday for practice we will all be going to the TCC to the El Tour Expo – and then on to the dinner. We can make time for homework in between that, if needed. School, as always, takes precedence.

I’m also baking tonite for the Bike Swap. Will make chocolate chip banana nut muffins (what’s new:?) and granola. Do you need me to get drinks to sell as well? Or are we set?
Finally,what time do I need to work for the packet pick up on Saturday and what time do we plan to be there on Sun. morning? I am praying for no rain!-Mary
Mary- Nippy has sodas and maybe water(?) to sell. We should be okay on drinks.
Sat – could use help setting up at 4pm – meeting at clubhouse to take things over to Borderlands. I have help from 5-7pm.
Sun – I want to begin set up at 8am over at clubhouse.
