This Weekend:
Saturday: USA Cycling campers. The shoot out that you choose. Breakfast after at my house.
L’Abitibi campers. After breakfast lets leave really as soon as we can. We have a house to stay in in Flagstaff, however we should bring sleeping bags. I think this should put us leaving approximately at noon–ish.
Those working bike camp: This is optional this week. I presume most of you are tired and want a rest and you have earned it.
Sunday: Tyler, Cara and Chloe. I need a coach to enjoy a work out with you. I will find someone.
Durango campers: Mandatory MTB ride that leaves the clubhouse at 6am. Be prepared.
Next week: Please I want all who are working summer bike camp to commute to work as much as possible. I want you all to show up to Durango camp ready to have fun. To prepare for camp if everyone could ride in that would be great. Also on your commute do two 30 second efforts. This little bit of work will go a long way.

This weekend I will be taking 6 boys up to a very prestigious USA cycling camp in Flagstaff, Arizona that is being run by the Junior National coach. They will be vying to make a squad that will travel to the Quebec region of Canada to participate in the biggest race for 17-18’s in the Americas. The last two years an El Grupo member has made a squad and this year 6 team members will be traveling and hoping to make a team. I have great confidence that they will all make it, and over these next few days, please everyone send them your best wishes.

Just sending 6 to this camp means a ton to me and to this team. It is a testament to our system, and our culture. I am so very proud of these 6 no matter what happens. I have watched them grow up over the years and it has been a joy to have the experience to do so.

Shawn posted this info but it’s stuck in the webs for some reason. Mtn riders: clubhouse open at 5:30. Leave time to clean and lube your chain. Bring your iced insulated water bottles. It’s hot! Departure promptly at 6.
