With a fantastically successful high school season of mountain biking now behind us we can now take a well earned rest.
The success though could not have come with out the amazing support of so many. Parents, teachers, brothers, coaches, brothers, sisters, thank you to the whole extended family for making this han. This would not be possible without the whole village. Thank You everyone!!!
I encourage everyone to look here : http://www.arizonamtb.org/2014-race-schedule-results/ to see all of the results from this weekend and for the over all of the league.
We had some amazing performances individually but most important we were able to take home the overall win with Tucson High.
This has been a long season for all of us and we now need to take a rest so we can be mentally, physically and emotionally ready for the road season before us.
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RIDE ALL WEEK. NO SPANDIES AT ALL. RIDE TO WORK AND TO HANG OUT BUT NO INTENSITY OR SPANDIES.
This is a great week to take care of little things like:
Make sure you have good lights for the winter season
Make sure you have really good clothes for the winter season ie. gloves, jackets hats
Make sure your power tap has batteries and is ready to go
Make sure your bike is working really well
Your shoes are in good shape
your garmin, watch, or computer device is ready to go
you have a pair of good tennis/ gym shoes
Please ask if you need help with any of this. I am more than happy to help and the team has a ton of equipment to share with you.
