Yep, its summer, that sweet oven feeling is upon us again.

 

We have to be smart now. There is time for us to work, ride and hang out, but we have to be disciplined with our time, sleep, and fun.

 

Please be mindful of getting great rest this week after all your morning activities and work. We all talked about this at work today, so please be mindful.

 

Stay hydrated, eat well, get to sleep early and get excited.

 

Junior– Juniors here is your plan from Nelson:

 

This week all practices will be departing the clubhouse at 6:00 AM sharp so that we can beat the heat. Those of you helping with Bike Camp should plan to bring a change of clothes to the Clubhouse so that you can make a quick transition after the ride. It is super important to focus on hydration (“pee clear”), getting enough sleep, and eating well as we continue to build fitness for the State Road Race and Nationals.
Tuesday 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Road bikes on the Loop with focus on sprints.
Wednesday 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Mountain bike ride with Veronique as our guide.
Thursday 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Road bikes for A mountain “over unders”
Saturday: 6:00 AM – approximately 10:00 AM: Shootout. Road bikes. We will roll out behind the Big Boy Shootout, thus the slightly later start. Finishing with one effort up A mountain. This will be our last really hard ride before State and Nationals.
SundayMT Lemmon hill climb race. 
Older Juniors
Tuesday– Morning ride leaves clubhouse 6am sharp.
Wednesday– Non- ID camp kids 2 hour ride.
Thursday– VO2 work on A mtn.
Saturday– Shoot Out plus helmet
Sunday– Mt Lemmon Time trial with more riding after.

    Hey yall I’ll be at practice tomorrow AM to ride MTB mainly because that one is cleaner and the chain is lubed. Yes early mornings!
