Congratulations everyone on a fantastic road season. We have a lot to be proud of.

I hope everyone now takes the time to really focus on school and their finals. I want everyone to rock their exams so that you all can really enjoy a great summer.

L’Abitibi Riders

Zaid, Ethan, Matthew, Samuel

We will be having practices this week. Same times as always. We are going to be starting a block this week so be ready.

ALL FEMALE RIDERS, PARENTS AND COACHES

This seems like a great event. Many of you went last year and remember you all having a great time. I want to encourage all the young ladies on the team to participate if they can and bring Mom. Last year all of the young ladies on the team got to step up and really help instruct many of the women who joined.

If you want to go:

Girls (and moms, female coaches) wanting to go should meet here at the clubhouse at 6:30am on Saturday the 13th to load the van/trailer and head out no later than 7am up to Bicycle Ranch for the event.

Come celebrate our second annual Ride Like a Girl event! If there is a young lady in your life who you are parenting or mentoring, bring her along! Some of the young ladies from el Grupo Youth Cycling, Tucson’s youth cycling  team, will be assisting with leading and sweeping all levels. These young ladies will help us remember the passion and excitement of experiencing this amazing sport with a beginner’s mind full of wonder and JOY.

Come to Bicycle Ranch at 7:30 for check-in, coffee and donuts. We’ll head to the trails in carpools promptly at 8. Rememebr to bring plenty of water, a spare tube and a way to inflate it, a snack and any personal itmes you may require. There are no bathrooms once we leave Bicycle Ranch.

As always, this ride is sutable for all levels, however, we don’t recommend the event for girls younger than 12. And the rides are just for women but male-folk are welcome to meet at Bicycle Ranch for the after-party We’ll have delicious bevvies from Dragoon Brewing and food is available close by.  Hope to see you all there!

I will not be able to help out with the Tuesday practice this week or next due to THS track banquet on Tuesday and out to town for a portion of next week. Study hard and do well on your studies, end of semester projects and finals!

Good luck to those taking tests and finals!
I can join Saturday. Do you have an idea what trail(s) they normally will ride over there? Thanks!

I can’t make it to the ride like a girl thing. I’ll be going to the grupito camping trip.
