Last week was one of the best of the weeks we have had collectively in some time. The intervals that we shared on Tuesday and Thursday were inspired. If we keep up this work ethic for the next two weeks we are going to be fast and ready.
This is week 2 of the build. We enter this week with some fatigue, but also some knowledge of what to expect and how to deal with the process.
This is the mental week, week 2 is always the hardest. The end is not near and the fatigue is real. However this is the week that really makes the build. Be proud this week. Challenge yourself and your teammates. Lets be on time, do this right, and get excited.
We are still chasing the vo2 bump and preparing the body for the MTB race efforts.
The fitness bump comes with consistency and pride.
Training Plan
Tuesday– VO2 max intervals. You can ride your mtb or road bike if you have a power meter. I prefer road bike if you have power meter
Wednesday– Trail ride with MTB. 3:45 and 4:30pm start. 4:30 ride will end at 6:30
Thursday– Same as Tuesday
Saturday– C team MTB start at 6am
Oldest man 5:30am. Same folks invited as last week
Old Man 5:45am
Big Boy 6am
Sunday– All Team Trail Ride. Meet at 5:45am.
