One to go, one to go, one to go.

All we can do now is rest and prepare. You have either done the work or you left something on the table. The only thing you can do now is rest and prepare.

Just as important as physical preparation is emotional and mental. Spend the week dreaming about what you hope to accomplish, if you can’t dream it and see it, you can’t do it.

Training Plan

Tuesday– Cole and Ada I will have coaches out to ride with you guys. It has been a week since you have both ridden and I want you two to be ready.

Everyone else Tuesday is off. However it is not off because of Halloween. It is off because I want you all to be rested and ready.

Now I put out this challenge. No Halloween candy until after the race. I want you to go out and have fun, but don’t eat any candy until after the race.

If you can prove to yourself that you have this will power, you can prove to yourself your great powers in other ways.

Prove to yourself you can do it. No candy until after the race.

Wednesday– MTB easy ride 3:45 and 4:30

Thursday– Classic pre-race ride

Friday– Middle schoolers leave at 4pm.

Saturday– Everyone be prepared and ready to leave at 8:30 am again. This drive and longer than the last one in Phoenix and they are very strict with pre ride times.

Sunday– We return late.

No candy until after the race reminds me of the “marshmallow experiment”.

I’m excited for this last race. White Tanks is a fun course and suites us to a tee. Ready yourselves, you have every potential to rock this!!!

Is there any space in our campsite for my family to camp with us on Saturday? They will bring their own gear and food, they just need a space.
