This is the first of the great Winter break rides.

This is some what of an easy logistical ride, as it is an out and back adventure.

I would like to leave the clubhouse at 7:30am, bikes loaded and ready to go.

This will allow us to be on bikes by approx. 8:30am. We start from Agua Caliente Park on the very far east side.

We then will ride for approx. 2.5 to 3 hours out, and then it is mostly down hill on the way back, so total ride time should be approx. 5 hours. That of course will include stops and the like.

We should be back at the cars by 1:30 and back at the clubhouse by 2:30.

We can of course make the ride shorter if that helps folks, as I know it is Christmas Eve and families are getting together. Please let me know if a shorter ride, means that more people can come.

A mountain bike, or a gravel bike is great for this ride.

For those of you that have been training with Max, you are very welcome to join us, if not, Mt Lemmon is close by.

Riders, please bring plenty of food, and be very well dressed. There is also no water available on this road, so a camel back or a third bottle is recommended.

Ethan will be there and he has no commitments so can ride as long as you are planning.
