I very much apologize for this extremely late post. I went on a quick vacation from Saturday night to last night. I had to re-calibrate myself.

 

This weekend we have two events. The Cactus Cup: https://thecactuscup.com/

and the Southern AZ Omnium: https://legacy.usacycling.org/events/getflyer.php?permit=2018-658

 

I will be going to Cactus Cup.

 

Cactus Cup NEEDS: Two Van drivers to leave on Friday morning at 10am. The team will cover food and lodging at the race, IE camping.

I would like to drive up on Thursday night to secure us some camp spots, thus the two drivers needed.

Kids going to this race will not be back until mid afternoon Sunday. Please bring your homework.

 

Southern AZ Omnium: We are only going to do the Crit on Saturday and the road race on Sunday. NO TT. It made logistics a total night mare. This race will also need two vans and drivers. ANYONE???

 

Training Plan

 

We have a lot of racing coming up. I believe that we are ready and fast. However with such a big racing block coming and the bigger races at the end we are going to ease into this block with a rest week.

 

Tuesday– Get your bikes ready and Pilates

 

Wednesday– 3:45 Road and Mountain endurance rides

4:30 MTB endurance only

 

Thursday– Openers on Road bikes.

 

Friday– Cactus Cup kids leave at 10am

 

Saturday– We all race and have fun

    Thanks! I’ll be at the Cactus Cup venue around 6ish on Friday. Looking forward to a day of Moutain Bike racing with the Cactus Cup riders. Good luck Omnium riders – stay on the rivet!!!

      Jesus is on a school field trip Thursday and won’t be back until late afternoon. So he will not be attending practice.
