We will be camping at “Hilltop Campground” in Prescott. We have 4 spots – #23, 20, 21 & 35

Parking will be EXTREMELY limited and they are strict on numbers of tents, so please plan on communicating via this blog (parents) if you are planning on going. Carpooling and potentially camping elsewhere if we don’t already know you are coming with the team may be necessary. Thanks for understanding!

I am coming on Friday in my car or driving a van if necessary since there is no school on Thurs or Fri with the teacher walkout. I am hoping to have a spot in the area where the team is. Please let me know otherwise. I can help with cooking, whatever as necessary. Note; I will be bringing muffins.

Thanks, Amy! We have drivers, but adult co-pilots are always appreciated 🙂 And help in the kitchen is always appreciated, too. I will have all food and menus up there ready to go so it should be easy and straightforward. Thanks!

  2. Nick King

I’m planning to drive up Friday and sleep in my vehicle.

And I have space to drive kids up in the afternoon, but not leaving until ~3:30

Daniela, if there is a concern for spaces for other parents and such, there is some limited availability at Hilltop, first come first served, starting Friday. They aren’t right next to the spots el Grupo has selected, but it’s an option. People can check the reservation.gov website:
https://www.recreation.gov/unifSearchResults.do for more details. Check in time is 2 pm. See everyone up there!

Thanks, Ali. Yes, there is first come first served spaces. Ignacio will be up there on Thursday night/Friday morning and try to investigate and reserve additional spaces if possible, and all will be arriving early enough on Friday to figure out how to make it all work out. Parking out at Costco and riding/carpooling in may be another option. As long as folks are ready to work together to figure it out, it should all work out. Thanks!

We are planning on coming up and helping with food and whatever else. We would like to stay with the group in our tent but we can unpack and then move our car and ride back in if necessary.

We plan on driving up on Friday and camping with the group. We can put up our tent and then move our car and bike back if necessary. We will help out with cooking and whatever needs doing.

Sorry I posted that twice! I wasn’t sure if it went through

Hi there. Morgan and Shannon and I are driving our van up after we drop off our kids at the clubhouse for the 8am departure. We have room for 9 more if anyone wants a ride up. Give us a call as I don’t check the blog regularly. 520-250-8998 (Morgan)
