Bravo everyone on another amazing weekend of racing.
I really want to take the time to thank all of the parents and volunteers that came to the race to help. We most certainly cannot do it without you and I want to make certain to fully thank you for the support and help.
Also another special thank you to all the parents that do so much to support their kids. Without your support there is no way the kids would be finding the success they are. So please parents know that I very much appreciate and need your support. Its what allows me to have the courage to continue. So thank you for the support.
Riders. Thank you for trusting me as your coach and following through on the training plans. They work, because you believe in them. We need this level of trust to achieve what we want. I have been doing this for 14 years. I have been to many coaching clinics and have read books galore, however without trust it does not work. I appreciate the trust you put in me and I promise to continue to do my best to help you achieve what you dream.
We are two races in, and in the exact position as teams that we hoped we would be in. We are holding on to 4 overall individual jerseys and have a healthy chance at 2 more. That said we have more racing to do than we have done. We need to keep up the intensity in our purpose and not lay down one bit.
I hope you all enjoyed the success of the last race, because I am going to ask you to walk back in the door tomorrow with that behind you. We only have work to do. Please be prepared for a good week with very intentional work.
Training Plan-– Please read carefully because it might be confusing
If you ride on Tuesday and Thursday only, then you are going to ride on both days. You will need to clean your bikes and get on ride tomorrow, so be prepared to do so dilligently.
If you ride all three days then, you are going to ride on Wednesday and Thursday and have programming on Tuesday.
Tuesday– MTB ride 4:30- 6:30
or 4:30 to 6 pm. Clean bikes, stretch and roll out
Wednesday– Road Bikes. 3:45 to 6:15 and 4:30 – 6:30 Solid Endurance maybe even some sub LT work
Thursday– MTB 4:30- 6:30 LT work
Saturday– RD bikes
Old Man 6:15 start
B and C Team ride 6:30
Big Kid Shoot out– 6:30
Sunday– MT Lemmon MTB——– NO BUG SPRINGS don’t ask.
