After a year delay due to the pandemic, we finally get a chance to celebrate riders that have graduated in the past year and a half. This is all happening at the clubhouse on Thursday, June 3rd. Current team members, graduates and families alike are invited to bring either dinner to keep within their family units or to share pot luck style. We will have beverages and surely a tale or two of our departing members. Should be fun.
Next week starts first week of Summer Bike Camp. This popular program is back after a year hiatus and the demand continues to be high as all spots are full. Practices will be simply cross trainings from 6am to 6:45am Tuesdays and Thursdays before the Camp day starts. Look for Saturday to remain unchanged, however.
We will also be holding a meeting for all new families who have kids joining one of our teams for the NICA season. We have three teams competing representing Tucson High School, Catalina Foothills HS and an El Grupo Composite team that will comprise of individual riders whose schools don’t field a team. This meeting will be Friday June 4th at 6pm at the clubhouse.
