March is crazy and there is more to come

We have groups moving in all directions this week. Please be patient with us as we try to ensure that all your kids get what they need.

Group 1– Temecula Riders and San Dimas Riders

If you are road bike only, then you have been given your instructions for this week. Please ask me if you need any more clarification. Madison and Ana you have not been given direction, my apologies lets ensure you know your plan moving forward.

Tuesday

Temecula Riders– If you raced at Bonelli then I would recommend you take today off. Get your school work done and recover a bit more.

If you are racing Temecula but were here this weekend, then there is a MTB ride for you today.

All others there is a mountain bike ride for you today.

Wednesday

Temecula riders– MTB afternoon ride. Pre race prep. Strong endurance ride.

3:45 and 4:30 start times

All others MTB ride

Thursday

Temecula Riders– You are leaving at some point on this day

All others 4:30 MTB ride

Saturday— MBAA White Tanks MTB race. This is a Phoenix race, and we can do it as a one day adventure. There is no extra cost.

However next weekend is the MTB State Championship race. If you can only make it to one of the races then, please prioritize next weekends. Only come this weekend if you can make both.

I need to know by Wednesday what you can do, so that we do not pay late fees. You must post here, so that we can get you properly signed up.

Thursday and Weekend Logistics

Many teammates leave today to head to California. Wish us all luck and speed.

Keenan is going to be in charge at the clubhouse and for practice the next few days.

Thursday– Most of you will be heading down to the crit course to practice for the race this weekend.

Saturday— Tolero Crit. This will be the most chill race of the season. There is not going to be any other junior in the race. We are only going to be racing ourselves. So Keenan is going to have fun breaking you guys up into teams and racing that way. So this is going to be just like practice, just with a number on. Its good for us to support the local race. The race starts at 7:30 am. We need to be on site by 6:30 am. So we need to leave the clubhouse by 6am. Parents is someone available to drive behind the group as they ride down? Its at Park and 36th St. Directly after the crit the kids will ride back to the clubhouse, so they should be ready to pick up and leave by 9 am ish.

Racers– Please remember to fill out your waiver form at the clubhouse before leaving.

Registered junior riders are: Axel, Estevan, Thomas, Reece, Thorstan, Zeke Maddy Morgan.

Registered cat 3 racers– Rogan, Quinn and Ethan Sotelo

If you are not racing the crit then the Shoot Out is back.

6:45 Old Man

7 am Big Kid

Sunday— MT Lemmon 8 am depart the clubhouse and be gone for 4 hours.

March is a crazy month

There is going to be a lot of information on this post and a lot of different groups moving in different directions so please take time to find your group

COMMUTER LIGHTS— ALL LIGTHS NEED TO BE HANDED IN TOMORROW. PLEASE. BAGS AND CABLES!!

I do want to start thought by thanking: Maya, Morgan Sean and Jesus, for going way above and beyond this weekend. Their help at the Cactus Cup Mountain bike race was absolutely invaluable and I can’t thank them enough myself. Please all if you see any of them this week, take time to thank them. THANK YOU!!!

This weekend some of the kids are going to be heading to Bonelli Park, in San Dimas, California for a UCI mountain bike race. This is the biggest MTB race format that we attend, so we are anxious and super excited.

Riders attending are :  Brayden, Damiano, Elliot, Izaac, Izzie, Jesus, Kaileen, Max, Sam, Myles, Rogan, Susie, Eve, Daniel, Dylan

We are going to be leaving at NOON on Thursday. Please arrive at the clubhouse at 11:30 am. This is a little earlier than previously stated, we just don’t want to arrive super late and have to drive deep into the night.

We are going to be camping and it will be cold in the morning, so please pack properly.

Bonelli Riders Training Plan

Tuesday– Recovery ride

Wednesday– Quality trail ride– 3:45 and 4:30 rides

Next riding group is the kids who have been doing the MBAA races.

There is a crit race in town that I want you all to do this Saturday. There are not going to be any other juniors at the race. So it is going to be a race against ourselves. This will make it super low key but also fun as we can make the race so that we race each other as teams. I want us to do the race to support the teams putting it on, and to get you all another race start. Race starts are important as you get older so that you can move up through the categories.

Axel, Caden, Camilla, Estevan, Kaiden, Leo, Maddy Mogan, Reece, Thomas, Thorstan, Zeke

All information can be found here: https://www.bikereg.com/tolero

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CANNOT COME, I WANT TO SIGN YOU ALL UP TOMORROW

The race starts at 7:30 am. We need to be there no later than 6:30 am,  so we are going to leave the clubhouse prompt at 6 am. Please be punctual. Coach Keenan is going to ride with you all down. The race is at Campbell and 36th st, by the Costco.
