Charitable Tax Credit Donations

Donate your Charitable Tax Credit to El Grupo. As of 2017, you can increase your impact by directing your AZ Charitable Tax Credit to El Grupo Youth Cycling. This means you can make an additional donation to El Grupo if you file an Arizona tax return ($400 single, $800 joint). You will receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit! You don’t have to itemize, AND you can also take your Arizona public school, private school, and foster care credits, as well. Keep up to $800 of your personal income taxes right here in Tucson to support local youth!

We Accept In Kind Donations

We accept cycling-related items that can be of use to our youth participants. Your donations help us get kids on bikes. Anything we cannot use may be sold online or during one of our bi-annual Bike Swap Meets (all funds support El Grupo programs) or donated to BICAS.

Here are a few things that we need:

• Pop-up tents in good, sturdy condition

• Road and mountain bikes or bike frames, all sizes (smaller is better)

• Modern, lightly used, or new bicycle parts and equipment

• Youth-sized cycling apparel and accessories

• Clubhouse supplies: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Hand Soap, Large Heavy Duty Garbage Bags

• Gift Cards to Costco, Circle K, Office Depot, REI

• Outdoor folding tables and heavy duty folding chairs

Please contact pNut@elgrupocycling.org to arrange other times to drop off donations. Be sure to get a receipt when you drop off donations as most are tax-deductible. Thanks!
