El Grupo Youth Cycling is seeking a Grupito Coordinator. This individual is responsible for the coordination of Grupito, our program for youth ages 7 – 13. In addition to coordinator responsibilities, this leader serves as the Head Coach of our junior cycling programs: Grupito, Bike Club, and Uno a Uno. The coordinator must be highly organized, a strong communicator, have competent bike skills and the ability to teach those skills to youth. BIPC Level 1 certification (or equivalent) is required. El Grupo Youth Cycling is also looking for volunteer and paid coaches for all of our programs working with youth aged 7–13 and 13-18. Coaches must be youth-oriented, positive, respectful riders who have competent bike skills and the ability to monitor young cyclists while riding in a group. El Grupo provides youth with bike-centered experiences that are both fun and challenging. We embrace all forms of cycling from road and mountain bike racing to bicycle touring and daily commuting. Through the use of bicycles, El Grupo’s goals are to:
